Beamer, a slack-key guitar legend, and twice Grammy-nominated Helm have created a ground-breaking CD with their stunning new arrangement of a modern classic. The collaboration of these two Hawaiian icons promises to transcend the Hawaiian music genre with the inclusion of slack key guitar, a wind quintet, and a Hawaiian chant blended with Raiatea's falsetto musings and Beamer carrying the melody as Lennon originally intended. Keola Beamer's career of more than 30 years as a world-renowned guitarist has earned my the highest esteem in the annals of slack key guitar, and Raiatea has received every major music award in the Hawaiian Islands, as well as national recognition as a Billboard World Chart recording artist. "Imagine" is one of 11 songs on the CD, each performed with beauty and poignancy. The CD is available for $15 as fundraiser for Lawai International Center.
