The center is open the second and the last Sunday of every month with tours at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 2:00pm, or by private appointment.

Rare Tea Ceremony Event 5/26/18
Come and experience a day in the ancient tradition of Japanese Tea Ceremony in the Hall of Compassion at the Lawai International Center on Saturday,May 26, 2018 with a session at 10:30, 12:00pm, 1:30pm and 3:00pm. Soothing Japanese flute music opens each session and light refreshments will be served. Due to a limit of 25 per session, reservations are required. Suggested minimum donation $25. Monthly Caring Days: On the first Saturday of every month from 9:00am to 1:00pm all are welcome to participate in the Community Caring Day where volunteers come together to nurture the grounds of the Center. Pilgrimage of Compassion 8/12/18: All are welcome to join the Pilgrimage of Compassion with Grandmaster Riley Lee on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm and the program starts at 2:30pm. Ancient Japanese flute music, taiko drumming, bonsai exhibit, lei making, coconut weaving, bake sale, silent auction and cultural culinary demos and crafts. CLICK HERE for more information.
